Goblet cell Ca: Carcinoma of the goblet cells of the bronchi.

Very rare intrabronchial adeno-ca. Originating from the remnant of the old intestinal mucosa that developmentally sprouted from the intestine and formed the lung alveoli.

Conflict:

Conflict of not being able to inhale the morsel of air, i.e., fear of suffocating

Flat-growing adeno-ca consisting of goblet cells of the old bronchial-intestinal mucosa of secretory and possibly also of resorptive quality.

Healing:

In the presence of mycobacteria: Tuberculous caseating necrotizing degradation of the small goblet cell adeno-ca. With multiple recurrences or with disease in infancy, complete breakdown of goblet cells may occur in the pcl-phase. This results in bronchial cystic fibrosis.
