Literally, an individual means “the indivisible”. The individual has a visible body and something that keeps this organic body alive. One cannot exist without the other. If this fact were understood, any form of therapy that does not take the psyche into account would be recognizable as a purely symptomatic form of therapy. In Germanische Heilkunde we use, in addition to the organ level (symptoms), the level of the psyche (biological conflict, DHS) and the brain level (Hamer Focus). All 3 levels always run synchronously, since there is no disease without a correlate in the psyche and a corresponding correlate in the brain. This gives Germanische Heilkunde an overdetermined diagnostic system: one can always infer from one level to the other two levels.
